The 14th European Forum for Geography and Statistics (EFGS) Conference will be held as a virtual conference with the video conference system CLICKMEETING. With this event platform participants can take part in the meeting interactively and in compliance with data protection regulations.

Participation in the conference is browser-based, i.e. you do not have to download any software. You will receive a link and password in a separate E-Mail that will lead you to the virtual conference room. A technology test will take place on Friday, September 3th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., which we offer all participants as a compulsory test. This takes a maximum of 30 minutes. EFGS-Lounge

During the conference breaks we offer a solution for networking. The EFGS-Lounge is a browser-based 2D room in which you can walk around and make contact with other participants. As in real life, you can flexibly start conversations and exchange ideas. As a circle with an avatar or your photo, you can move around freely in the lounge using your mouse. If two or more circles are close enough to each other, a connection is created automatically. Your camera will turn on and a conversation can begin. You don’t need to register or log in, just click on the link in the program. The lounge is also available before and during the entire program.
